About the Role

As a Registered Nurse with NurseSA, you will provide high-standard, person-centred nursing care across a variety of clinical settings. You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team and deliver safe, evidence-based care that meets the unique needs of each patient or resident.

Depending on the facility and your experience, your duties may include:

  • Delivering direct, person-centred clinical care on a shift-by-shift basis

  • Coordinating individual care plans and collaborating with allied health professionals

  • Supporting patient education, health promotion, and ongoing care planning

  • Ensuring accurate clinical documentation and compliance with facility standards

  • Upholding infection control, WHS, and medication administration requirements

  • Providing supervision and mentorship to junior staff, students, and graduates

  • Demonstrating safe and competent practice within your scope and relevant standards

  • Working across various departments including surgical, medical, perioperative, ED, aged care, community health or rehabilitation (depending on your skills)

About You

We are looking for dedicated Registered Nurses who demonstrate:

  • The ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team

  • Strong communication, clinical reasoning and problem-solving skills

  • Confidence in working autonomously and adapting to different care environments

  • A professional, compassionate and patient-centred approach to care

  • A commitment to maintaining high standards of clinical practice and safety

Essential Requirements:

  • Registered Nurse with the Nursing & Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA)

  • Current practising certificate

  • Minimum 6 months’ recent experience in an acute, aged-care, perioperative or community setting

  • Up-to-date immunisation record (as per SA Health or facility requirements)

  • National Police Clearance and NDIS Worker Screening (or willingness to obtain)

  • Current CPR Certificate

  • Evidence of COVID-19 and influenza vaccination

Desirable:

  • Experience in Anaesthetics, Theatre Recovery, Critical Care, ED, Mental Health, Aged Care or Community Nursing

  • Manual handling certification

  • Medication administration competence (aged care applicants)

Why Join NurseSA?

  • Flexible shifts that suit your lifestyle: mornings, afternoons, nights & weekends

  • Variety of work across leading hospitals, aged-care providers and community services

  • Competitive hourly rates + penalties

  • Weekly pay

  • Supportive, friendly team available 7 days a week

  • Opportunities for ongoing placements and long-term bookings

  • Professional growth across multiple clinical environments
