Job Description

We are currently seeking experienced and compassionate Registered Nurses to join our expanding team and support our clients with short-notice, ongoing, and flexible shift coverage.
About the Role
As a Registered Nurse with NurseSA, you will provide high-standard, person-centred nursing care across a variety of clinical settings. You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team and deliver safe, evidence-based care that meets the unique needs of each patient or resident.
Depending on the facility and your experience, your duties may include:

Delivering direct, person-centred clinical care on a shift-by-shift basis

Coordinating individual care plans and collaborating with allied health professionals
-
Supporting patient education, health promotion, and ongoing care planning
-
Ensuring accurate clinical documentation and compliance with facility standards
-
Upholding infection control, WHS, and medication administration requirements
-
Providing supervision and mentorship to junior staff, students, and graduates
-
Demonstrating safe and competent practice within your scope and relevant standards

Working across various departments including surgical, medical, perioperative, ED, aged care, community health or rehabilitation (depending on your skills)
About You
We are looking for dedicated Registered Nurses who demonstrate:

The ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team

Strong communication, clinical reasoning and problem-solving skills

Confidence in working autonomously and adapting to different care environments

A professional, compassionate and patient-centred approach to care

A commitment to maintaining high standards of clinical practice and safety
Essential Requirements:
-
AHPRA Registered Nurse
-
Current practising certificate
-
Minimum 6 months’ recent experience in an acute, aged-care, perioperative or community setting
-
Up-to-date immunisation record (as per SA Health or facility requirements)
-
National Police Clearance and NDIS Worker Screening (or willingness to obtain)
-
Current CPR Certificate
-
Evidence of COVID-19 and influenza vaccination
Desirable:
-
Experience in Anaesthetics, Theatre Recovery, Critical Care, ED, Mental Health, Aged Care or Community Nursing

Manual handling certification
-
Medication administration competence (aged care applicants)
